Sam Petherbridge

Sam Petherbridge is a founder, technologist, and advisor based in Brisbane, Australia. His flagship product, Chippy Tools, is a construction calculator app with over 300,000 downloads across 12 languages, reaching greater than 90% of the world’s countries in any given month. Sam also consults to professional firms through Forest Green Digital and is currently developing Tryvex, an AI-powered platform that helps insolvency professionals and solicitors derive insight from financial documents.

Before launching his own ventures, Sam spent over five years at WPP — the world’s largest advertising and communications group — first at Ikon Communications, then AKQA Media, where he held roles spanning programmatic media, performance marketing, product development, and operations. He began his career at Baulderstone (now part of Lendlease), working in technology roles across major construction and infrastructure projects.

With this background, Sam has been able to mould his highly methodical technological skills with an innate understanding of technical marketing systems. This has led Sam to advise technology startups, manage the full marketing function for a major Australian industry body, and develop applications for various organisations. Sam’s unique skillset is one of only a few perfect blends available in Australia — allowing him to provide a full suite of assistance from inception to execution.

Sam holds an MBA with Distinction from RMIT University, a Bachelor of Media and Communication with Distinction from QUT, and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. He brings 14+ years of experience across software development, digital marketing, and business operations.
